A 16-year-old teenager confessed to having stabbed his mother-in-law, found dead at her home in Millau (Aveyron), announced the Rodez prosecutor's office, which on Thursday 3 September relinquished the case to profit of the parquet of Montpellier.

The bloody body of the 39-year-old woman was discovered Tuesday by the police, alerted by a neighbor saying he heard screams and a thud, said the prosecutor, Olivier Naboulet.
