Medlaji pointed to the continuation of work on a project to rehabilitate the streets within the neighborhoods of the old city of Aleppo, including the axis of the bank Talaat Qustal Al-Hajjaren in Hassita, at an estimated cost of 24 million pounds, and it is implemented by the Military Construction Corporation under the supervision of the Old City Directorate, and it includes skimming, asphalting, dismantling and transferring the old ruined tiles and the presentation and installation of black basalt rosette tiles The introduction and installation of a concrete canal to drain water on both sides of the road, and the introduction and implementation of a concrete lens, as the project reached its final stages.

He explained that the asphalting work of the streets in the Mansheya area and behind the Al-Abara Mosque is continuing within the project of asphalting the streets around the ferry area with a value of 24 million pounds and pledged by the General Company for Roads and Bridges, in addition to continuing the project of rehabilitating the street from Shehan Roundabout in the western part of the city to Al-Lermoun Roundabout, which includes the work of installing tiles The sidewalks, and the laying of an asphalt shirt, worth about 150 million pounds, was pledged by the Military Construction Execution Corporation under the supervision of the Assyrian Services Directorate.

The work of scraping the streets is also continuing in Dahiet Al-Assad in Al-Hamdaniyah in preparation for paving them as part of the rehabilitation project for streets, sidewalks and basements with intermediate islands in Dahiet Al-Assad, with a total value of 100 million pounds, according to Medlaji.

He pointed to the continuation of work on a project to rehabilitate the western entrance to Aleppo on the Aleppo-Damascus International Road, and to be implemented by the Military Housing Corporation, Branch 3. Starting from Khan al-Asal Bridge to the administrative borders of the city of Aleppo with asphalting of the zones that need to be asphaled from the Damascus road to the administrative boundaries of the governorate, rehabilitating the metal and stone fences and walls and repairing the metal bumper at the western entrance to Aleppo from Al-Hayat Hospital to Saif al-Dawla al-Hamdani roundabout, at a total cost of about 840 One million lire.
