Nana is already a hurricane as she heads to Central America

Tropical Storm Nana became a hurricane on Wednesday and is expected to make landfall in Belize tonight, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) reported in its 10 p.m. CDT report.

With maximum sustained winds of 120 kilometers per hour, Nana was 95 kilometers southeast of Belize City and was moving at a speed of 26 km / h, according to the report.

A hurricane watch is in effect off the coast of Belize, from Belize City south to the Belize-Guatemala border.
