The Lebanese Army Command announced that 6,215 housing units were damaged in the Ashrafieh area in the eastern suburbs of Beirut as a result of the explosion that occurred in the Beirut port, which occurred on August 4.

The army command said in a statement today that the survey carried out by the specialized teams included 6215 housing units that were damaged in the Ashrafieh area, the eastern suburb of Beirut, as a result of the Beirut port explosion, adding that the survey of residential buildings will continue in the rest of the affected areas.

For its part, the Lebanese Ministry of Health published today an updated list of the names of the victims of the explosion, whose number to date has reached 191 martyrs.

The presidency of the caretaker government in Lebanon announced last Sunday that the number of victims of the Beirut port explosion had risen to 190, in addition to the injury of 6,500 people, while three people were still missing.
