Upcyling: these young entrepreneurs who bring dormant stocks back to life

Their profession? Upcycler. Their role? Connect companies wishing to sell their unsold products and brands with an environmental fiber.


Has fashion found, with upcycling, a way to reconcile economy and eco-responsibility?

Beyond the growing number of designers who have made it their trademark (Marine Serre, Ronald van der Kemp, Kevin Germanier, Petit H d'Hermès collection, etc.), this process of reviving dormant stocks appeals to entrepreneurs budding.

They are reinventing the business of destocker.

"We are the missing link between brands wanting to get rid of their unsold rolls of fabric and those wishing to use them,"

explains Charlotte Billot, founder of UpTrade.
