Many people from Tutzing complain that the Andechser Hof has been vacant for years.

Now there seems to be a glimmer of hope: an important contract is in place.

But not all problems have been resolved yet.

Tutzing

- Recently used cars have been parked in the Andechser Hof parking lot.

However, there is no change to car trading in the former Tutzing restaurant.

But because the area next to the inn, which has been vacant since February 2012, is not needed for anything else, the owners are making the area available for vehicles.

Just a minor matter of a long-running topic that moves many Tutzingers.

In the meantime, however, confident voices can be heard from the community.

"We are negotiating the second urban development contract," confirms Mayor Marlene Greinwald.

Previously, after research by Starnberger Merkur, there were many discussions.

The three-person working group formed especially for the Andechser Hof, consisting of Dr.

Wolfgang Behrens-Ramberg (Tutzinger List), Dr.

Ernst Lindl (CSU) and Bernd Pfitzner (Greens).

Actually, a concept with a restaurant, beer garden, office and practice rooms as well as apartments that was presented in the municipal council at the beginning of 2019 met with broad approval.

The owners Georg and Kornelia Schuster, who bought the Andechser Hof from the Andechs Monastery two years ago, wanted to build quickly, as they have repeatedly emphasized.

But so far it has not been successful.

According to Mayor Greinwald, a first urban development contract with the costs of the development plan has long been signed.

The second contract should have been in place for a few days.

It is a prerequisite for the further development plan procedure.

Important points such as security as a restaurant and noise tolerance by neighbors should be specified.

"You don't always have to wear a belt and suspenders at the same time."

According to reports, there are different opinions about legal protection.

Some consider regulations in the development plan to be sufficient, others demand additional protection in the land register - which in turn, some suggest that the value of the property is reduced.

Pfitzner is more relaxed about it: "You don't always have to wear a belt and suspenders at the same time."

While some are negotiating, many people from Tutzing hope that the standstill will end.

“This is really not a figurehead for Tutzing,” says Oliver Lutz.

The head master of the Starnberg butcher's guild lives next door.

He regularly observes visitors who would obviously like to stop by.

"Tutzing urgently needs more good gastronomy", says Kristina Danschacher, the chairwoman of the Tutzing Association for Tourism.

Rolf Läkamp from Gasthaus Tutzinger Hof across the street thinks it is necessary for the decaying "eyesore" to finally disappear.

Lutz is impressed by the concept of the owners: "If a local family wants to run a new restaurant, that's important for an attractive local life." ultimately apartments, perhaps with a few commercial properties, will prevail ”.

The municipal councils involved in the negotiations seek understanding.

"Such things in development plan changes always take a long time," says Pfitzner: "People tend to forget that." Greinwald believes it is possible that the urban development contract will be signed in autumn.

“We support it from the community wherever possible”, she promises and adds: “We want to have localities - that is important for the place.” Behrens-Ramberg assures: “We want to have the Bavarian inn in Andechser Hof . "
