Attempted assassination in Kiryat Yam: A young man was shot during a brawl and fatally injured

A man in his 20s was shot in the head during a brawl and was taken to Rambam Hospital in Haifa, where his condition was critical. The police began investigating the incident, the background and the circumstances of the investigation.

A man in his 20s was fatally injured this evening (Saturday) by gunfire during a brawl that occurred on Moshe Shapira Street in Kiryat Yam.

MDA teams provided him with medical treatment and evacuated him to Rambam Hospital in Haifa, suffering from gunshot wounds to the head.

The police have opened an investigation into the incident, and are conducting searches for the perpetrators of the crime, along with collecting findings at the scene by forensic investigators. The background and circumstances are under investigation.

According to medical sources, a resident of the city turned to Rambam Medical Center in Haifa.

MDA paramedic Eliana Agassi said that "when we arrived at the scene, we saw a man lying unconscious with a bodily injury, we provided him with life-saving medical treatment that included anesthesia and respiration and we evacuated him to the hospital when he was in critical and stable condition."
