An official of the Coordinating Council of the opposition in Belarus, Olga Kovalkova, said Saturday in Warsaw that she found refuge in Poland after being threatened and then transported to the Polish border by the Belarusian security services.

Arrested since August 25 in Belarus, Olga Kovalkova, member of the presidium of the Council which aims to organize a transition of power in Belarus, appeared at a press conference in Warsaw, alongside Michal Dworczyk, the Prime Minister's chief of staff Polish.
