The governorate of Damascus continues to asphalt a number of city streets and its neighborhoods as part of its plan to improve the road conditions to make them better before the arrival of winter.
This morning, the governorate’s workshops began asphalting works on the main street in the Dwel'a neighborhood after it was cleared, starting from Abu Ataf Junction and up to Saint Elias Church, with a length of more than 400 square meters and a width ranging between 9 and 13 meters with an area estimated at 5,000 square meters, according to the maintenance director in the governorate, Eng. Muhammad Hamamiyeh, who indicated that the works will continue until next Monday on the aforementioned road, to be immediately followed by asphalting the road from the beginning of the Jaramana Bridge to the church.
Hamamiyeh indicated that the workshops are also carrying out asphalting works in the Wadi Al-Sail neighborhood by destroying the country after it was furnished with cream material and the two roads connecting to the schools of Muayad Jaber in Al-Gamaleya in Kfarsousa and Ash Al-Waror in Barzeh and their surroundings, after brushing them with a foundation layer and leveling them in addition to continuing with asphalting works in the main and secondary streets and lanes in the neighborhood Flowers in Al Zahirah, pointing out that the workshops have been skimming the main road, starting from the March 8th compound in Zablatani to the Ain Tarma Bridge in preparation for its glazing.
According to Hammamet, the governorate's workshops completed the asphalting works of Talaat Ajaj Street in Sheikh Mohi al-Din Barkin al-Din, with an area of 2,100 square meters, in addition to the asphalt of the street behind the Ibn Asakir complex, leading to the entrance to Al-Suruji Street in the Shaghour area.
