Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
Dozens of Palestinian prisoners were suffocated today, as the Israeli occupation forces stormed Ofer prison in the West Bank.
Wafa news agency quoted the prisoner club as saying in a statement that the occupation forces stormed the prison and fired poison gas canisters, which resulted in the injury of 26 Palestinian prisoners of suffocation, warning of the seriousness of violations and the oppressive practices of the occupation authorities against the prisoners in violation of international conventions.
The Prisoner's Club called on international organizations, headed by the International Red Cross, to urgently intervene to stop the escalation and brutal assault on prisoners and to oblige the occupation authorities to release sick prisoners, the elderly, children and women.
