The Internet service has returned to Syria after the technical workshops completed the repair work for the optical cable malfunction between the governorates of Homs and Tartous.
The Minister of Communications and Technology, Eng. Iyad Al-Khatib, said that the workshops had completed the repairs and the Internet service was restored after it was cut off.
Minister Al-Khatib had announced earlier that the internet service was cut off due to a malfunction in the optical cable between Homs and Tartous, indicating that the technical workshops went to the place of the breakdown to repair it and restore service.
