"There is a holiday atmosphere here, Israel and Kosovo friends, who imagined ?! It came as a complete surprise to us, we are in the clouds," said Flori Zeevi, a Jew living in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo.

He said, "The fact that Israel and the United States know us is a huge thing.

Everyone here is very excited.

Iran and Hezbollah are enemies of Kosovo, these organizations are trying to cause hatred but Trump has managed to bring hearts together.

"Kosovo has declared Hezbollah a terrorist organization."

The head of the Jewish community in Kosovo, Watim Demiri, added that "the recognition will bring with it wonderful news for the two countries in many ways."

As you may recall, US President Donald Trump, Serbian President Alexander Vujicic and Kosovo Prime Minister Abdullah Hoti reached an agreement on economic normalization between the two countries last Friday after years of Serbia's non-recognition of Kosovo.

At the same time, the two countries will upgrade their relations with Israel.

According to President Trump, Serbia has pledged to move its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem by June and Kosovo will maintain diplomatic relations with Israel.

The president of Kosovo, accusing Tachi, told Israel Today: "The mutual recognition between Kosovo and Israel is a historic achievement. While I look forward to opening our embassy in Jerusalem, I thank the United States for allowing the two countries to build a strong partnership between two sovereign states. "Kosovo and the people of Israel have made a connection that cannot be broken through sacrifice, struggle and fighting for existence throughout history. Therefore, I believe that today is only a continuation of a long friendship between the two countries."
