According to Le JDD, this cyber-attack targeted the Paris prosecutor, Rémy Heitz, but also magistrates, particularly from the financial center or Parisian lawyers in charge of sensitive cases.
A source familiar with the matter, however, told AFP that this attack was on a wider scale, not limited to the Paris court.

False emails suggesting old exchanges were also sent to lawyers like Pierre Cornut-Gentille and Jean-Marc Delas.

This lawyer's computer system was disrupted for a day and a half.

The magistrate took care of important and delicate cases such as the Libyan case in which Nicolas Sarkozy is involved or the illegal financing of the former FN.
Since the alert was given at the beginning of the week, the IT services of the court have issued recommendations to all magistrates.
