The meeting between the generations in the Palestinian Writers Union and the General Secretariat of Damascus today was distinguished by the tendency of its texts to poetic modernity, whether in weighted productions or in prose.

The poet Ayham Al-Houri opened the meeting with a spoken poem entitled Rifiah that touched the beauty of the village with innovative poetic images, while the poet Samir Al-Khalaf presented vertical poems that simulated reality and social and emotional concerns under the title I am still, a fisherman and the stick of Moses.

The poet Nashat Al-Raadoun participated in balanced texts that talked about the terrorist war on Syria and its repercussions on the homeland and society. The poet Fatima Jaafar also participated in a vertical poem on the tongue of a fighter entitled The Ruling of Time, and another text in which she defended the vertical poetry entitled Return Far.

The poet Salim al-Maghribi presented an emotional vertical text entitled Shame, in which he talked about the Arab reality, and another in spoken words dealt with the war waged against Syria and its effects on the hearts of children and society.

Poet Iman Mawsli participated in prose texts that were distinguished by her amazing pictures entitled Finally, and since the softness of anxiety and love in my country, I am looking for me. As for the poet Radwan Qasim, he shared a poem belonging to the tafil style entitled Without Eyes that mimics the Palestinian Arab reality.

And the poet Ibrahim Lafi read a poem entitled “Sleep in the Darkness” in which he sings his love for the land and the beauty of Al-Qajah with two texts that are shouting and narrated. As for Yusef Qaid, he read a text entitled How I became a poet and shared the verses of Joban with vertical texts entitled Morning and Sheikh and Love with suspended execution and I love you while the two texts that Hana Daoudi read carried my title behind the scenes and I love you Or i don't love you

The second stop in the meeting was on international poetry, where poet Muhammad Jabr read texts by Albanian poet and writer Ismail Kadrieh .. the author of the Dead Army General's novel entitled O Poetry and Pope.

The meeting was moderated by the critic and journalist Samer Mansour and opened the door for dialogue and criticism for the attendees.
