A year ago, the president was already warning his troops, even if it meant taking them back: the regal, through the fight against communitarianism and illegal immigration, would be a key theme and one of his priorities for 2022. At the end of a summer marked by the upsurge of news items and media attacks which marked the spirits, Emmanuel Macron has no other choice but to accelerate on this aspect of his policy, on which he struggles to define a clear line.
