The one-year "Post-epidemic Sunny Day and Outstanding Youth Sharing Blessings" project will be approved by the Outstanding Youth Association Fund of the Outstanding Youth Association to approve emergency assistance cases, and provide a one-time emergency assistance fund for grassroots students and families in need.

After the grant of assistance, the fund will also help grassroots families improve their economic conditions through a series of follow-up activities such as vocational training.

The members of the foundation are all responsible for reviewing and approving emergency aid cases and funds by member representatives of the Outstanding Youth Association. The approval time is one week at the earliest.

At present, the fund is actively appealing to people from all walks of life to donate money to help grassroots people solve the various problems caused by the epidemic.

The plan has so far raised HK$100,000 in donations.

Professor Deng Zhijie: "10,000 yuan can only solve superficial problems"

Professor Deng Zhijie said that the amount of the 10,000 yuan aid provided by the government can only solve the superficial economic problems of the grassroots.

Professor Deng Zhijie, Chairman of the Fundraising Committee of the Outstanding Youth Association, said that although the government’s 10,000 yuan aid is life-saving, at best it can only solve the superficial economic problems of the grassroots and cannot really help them out of their plight, such as those of grassroots families. Students lack suitable equipment to cooperate with distance learning.

"At present, many schools advocate e-learning and teach through video conferences, but some students may not even have a mobile phone or a computer. These are problems that we need to solve." Professor Deng pointed out that the follow-up support of the plan includes donations Technological products, masks and other materials, but it depends on the total amount of social donations.

The plan is now ready to approve the first grant. In the future, it will cooperate with different chambers of commerce and social welfare organizations to expand the scale of the plan.

Plan to help grassroots families improve the environment on their own

Zhou Dingyu, chairman of the Outstanding Youth Association, said that after addressing the urgent needs of grassroots families, it will help them improve their working ability and improve the environment.

Zhou Dingyu, chairman of the Outstanding Youth Association, also pointed out that follow-up assistance is mainly to help grassroots families improve their economic and living environment on their own.

"First of all, we will solve their urgent needs, and then we will start to improve their work ability, so that they can more easily join the society and continue to work in the future." Chairman Zhou hopes that the plan will help low-income families solve pressing economic problems in the first year of operation. In the future, we will help them improve their family's living environment and work abilities through one-stop service.

"In the future, we can cooperate with the members of the Outstanding Youth Association to open different training courses to enhance the working ability of each family and improve the family environment. I hope that every adult can study hard and find more future development opportunities."
