Singer Tamir Gal was arrested by Tel Aviv police detectives on suspicion of possession of drugs and his detention was extended today (Monday) by four days. Gal was arrested along with a 43-year-old Jaffa resident while traveling together in a car in Holon in possession of 101 grams of cocaine. Gal's arrest comes after the interrogation of an Israeli businessman, a well-known figure in Tel Aviv's nightlife, who was questioned by the police after his 11-month-old baby son was brought to Dana Hospital in Tel Aviv.
