Sana'a - Sana

The Yemeni Center for Human Rights confirmed the death and injury of more than 7,200 children in various Yemeni governorates as a result of the continuous Saudi aggression on Yemen since 2015.

This came in a report issued by the Center on the crimes of the Saudi aggression against the children of Yemen, titled (Childhood with the Color of Blood and the Smell of Death), in response to the United Nations removing the Saudi aggression from the list of shame, according to Al Masirah Net.

The report stated that the number of children killed as a result of the air strikes on Yemen reached 3468 children and the wounded 3804, stressing that 91 percent of the total child victims resulted from these attacks.

The report indicated that more than 5.5 million children are at risk of childhood diseases, with poor provision of health care and nutrition services.

In addition, the Yemeni Minister for Human Rights, Radhia Abdullah, described international decisions and covenants on the rights of children, women and civilians in conflicts and conflicts as (just ink on paper and has nothing to do with reality), indicating that this is evidenced by the role of the United Nations and international organizations that it plays in the war on Yemen By standing by the aggression, as it did by removing the Saudi regime from the list of shame.

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) announced on the 26th of last June that the number of malnourished children in Yemen may rise to 2.4 million by the end of this year due to the great shortage of humanitarian aid funding.

It is noteworthy that the Saudi aggression on Yemen, which has continued since March 2015, has caused a deterioration in the economic, living and health conditions in the country as a result of the blockade imposed by the forces of aggression on Yemeni ports and the failure to allow the entry of relief and medical aid, which led to the largest humanitarian disaster in the world, according to several UN organizations.
