The Israel Police has solved a suspicion of the murder of a 30-year-old foreign national from Thailand, which took place on August 11 in the workers' residence in Ein Yahav.

That night, two suspects were arrested in the incident, foreign workers in their 30s, whose detention was extended from time to time.

The suspicions against one of them were later removed and last week the Southern District Attorney's Office filed a prosecutor's statement against the other suspect.

On the night of the incident, a report was received about a stabbing in the residence of the foreign workers and a medical team determined the death of the victim at the scene.

Police officers who arrived at the scene began investigating the incident and a knife was found with its help, according to the suspect, the deceased was stabbed.

At the end of a situation assessment conducted by the Negev Regional Commander, Lt. Gen. Yair Hatzroni, the investigation was assigned to the Negev Central Unit (SAR).
