Colombian James Rodríguez will play next season in the Premier League, after being confirmed this Monday as a brand new Everton footballer.

The midfielder born in Cúcuta, Colombia, thus ends his era with Real Madrid, after six years with the merengue club, in which he was loaned to Bayern Munich for two seasons.

With a lot of faith, I hope to be able to give many joys to all, "declared the figure of the World Cup in Brazil 2014 after confirming his transfer to the" Toffees.

James signed with the English institution for two years, with the option of a third season.

It is his first transfer since he arrived at Real Madrid in 2014, just after being the scorer of Brazil 2014, with 6 goals.

At Everton he will meet again with the coach who took him to the merengue team six years ago: Carlo Ancelotti.

The Italian coach referred to the arrival of the offensive midfielder: "James, as everyone knows, is a fantastic player, with great quality and great ability to assist the forwards."

The Colombian was part of the Real Madrid squad that won the Champions League in 2016 and 2017. He also won two Spanish leagues, a Spanish Super Cup, two UEFA Super Cups and two Club World Cups.
