It is unclear exactly what the problem is.

One thing is certain: the planned research center in the center of Murnau's Kemmelpark does not exist to this day.

Neurovision Pharma GmbH is keeping quite a low profile with statements.

Buying back the area is not up for debate, according to Mayor Rolf Beuting (ÖDP / Bürgerforum).

  • Three and a half years have passed since the contract for a research center in Murnau's Kemmelpark.

  • The area is still undeveloped.

  • Neurovision keeps a low profile on the reasons.

Murnau

- At Neurovision Pharma GmbH there was a jubilant mood in March 2017.

"We are of course very happy", emphasized at the time managing director Prof. Dr.

Ludwig Aigner.

At that time, the Murnau market town council awarded the GmbH the contract for the free fillet area in the center of the Kemmelpark.

A mix of residential and commercial on a cooperative basis and a 144-room business hotel were also up for debate.

But the research center emerged victorious.

In addition, the people's representatives decided at the time to create living space on the area at the James Loeb House.

Company keeps a low profile

A long time ago, but you still look in vain for a research center.

It is unclear what the problem is.

The company is keeping a relatively low profile.

"Neurovision Pharma GmbH is still driving the research and therapy development center project in Kemmelpark," said the shareholders and managing directors Ludwig Aigner, Ulrich Bogdahn and Hans-Lothar Arth.

"There are still important discussions going on at the moment." At the moment there is nothing more to say.

Cooperation with trauma clinic in discussion

It is possible that there has not yet been an agreement with the Berufsgenossenschaftliche Unfallklinik (BG), which Aigner described as an "extremely important partner" in 2017.

But he is silent on this subject.

Sarah Heinze, managing director of the trauma clinic, confirms that the hospital is holding talks with Neurovision Pharma.

“The company's research activities naturally arouse great interest, since one of the main focuses of the BG Unfallklinik Murnau is the treatment of patients with spinal injuries.

It would certainly be of mutual benefit to carry out joint projects in the future to further improve paraplegiology. ”This is the science and medical specialization that deals with paraplegic syndrome.

Heinze: “Research in this area is very important at the BG Unfallklinik Murnau, as demonstrated by the clinic's own institute for biomechanics or the long-term cooperation with the PMU Salzburg.

It is important to us to continue to advance this area in the future. ”Aigner works at the Paracelsus Medical Private University (PMU).

The Neurovision company develops drugs for the treatment of neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's or Parkinson's as well as paraplegia.

In 2017 it was said that the new building should cost around 50 million euros.

There was talk of 40 to 50 employees.

round table

"Of course I would like things to go faster," explains Mayor Rolf Beuting (ÖDP / Citizens' Forum).

"We have introduced a round table with several actors involved in the project." He considers this regular dialogue to be extremely important.

“We feel very well informed by the buyers.” A buyback by Markt Murnau is out of the question.

“The last time we talked about a possible start of construction next year,” says Beuting.

The town hall does not answer the question of whether there is a point in time by which the GmbH must have built.

Utzschneider complains about too little information

The CSU parliamentary group feels that it is insufficiently informed.

"Our current status is that we know nothing," complains parliamentary group spokesman Rudolf Utzschneider.

“Nothing comes of information from the town hall.” If you ask, it says: “There is a round table and we are confident.”

Jones encourages second craftsmen's yard

Veronika Jones, group spokeswoman for the Greens, finds it "disappointing that nothing happened".

After all, it is a valuable, central piece of land in Kemmelpark.

In their opinion, the municipality should consider whether there is a possibility of buying back the property.

Jones suggests using it for something else - a second craftsman's yard with apartments on the first floor.

Probst: an essential project

Phillip Zoepf, spokesman for the “Mehr Bewegen” faction, says that the sale of the property was coupled with the expectation “that something will be created there.

I hope that the project that was presented to us will be implemented ”.

Visually, the area is currently "not a feast for the eyes".

Welf Probst from the Free Voters also wishes "that something will be seen soon".

Because the project is "essential for Murnau and especially for the accident clinic".

It is important to have such research centers not only in the city but also in the countryside.
