On the night of September 6 to 7, a policewoman from Saint-Germain-en-Laye killed herself with her service weapon.

, the young woman, aged 28, worked as a day brigade at the Sartrouville police station.

Still according to the Ile-de-France daily, she left a note on which it was written: "
Since I do not count
".
As required by the procedure in these circumstances, an investigation is underway to determine whether her action was motivated by the professional context in which she was evolving or by reasons related to her private life.
At least two representatives of the police committed suicide during the month of August.
In 2019, 59 agents ended their day, a 60% increase from the previous year.
The Interior Ministry has, among other things, set up an anonymous helpline, 0805 230 405, to try to stem the terrible phenomenon.
