Twitter photos of a woman from Mexico gave VW a shit current.
Nazi pictures were part of the decoration at a Volkswagen dealer - now the company is taking action.

Volkswagen
has separated

"The company has decided to end all business relationships," the group said on Tuesday.
“We condemn the use of the images on display at the facility.
They show a regime that relied on hatred and discrimination in a historical epoch that fortunately lies behind us. "

German car maker @VW is apparently having difficulty shaking off its Nazi past.

VW: Car manufacturer is now cracking down on dealers because of Nazi images - Wiesenthal-Zentrum welcomes step
The
Wiesenthal center
now welcomed the termination of the business relationship with the car dealer.
"We welcome the fact that Volkswagen Mexico has reacted quickly with a clear message to the world in memory of the victims of Nazi barbarism," said a statement on Tuesday.
VW Mexico
stated: “We speak out against all forms of hatred and discrimination.” Initially, the company had called on the dealer to stop using such images with immediate effect.
However,
further measures
had also been announced.
The recordings in the
car dealership in the capital's Coyoacán district
had "triggered a lot of reactions from the social media community," it said.
The group distanced itself from them - they did not fit at all with Volkswagen's corporate image.
Meanwhile, the carmaker wants to increasingly focus on its electric models.
The car summit on September 8 with Chancellor Angela Merkel is also of concern for Wolfsburg.
