The department classified as an active circulation zone of the virus since September 5, the North Prefecture announced the closure of bars, restaurants and general food stores between 12:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. from September 9.
These measures, already in force in metropolitan Lille since September 7, will last at least fifteen days.

These new health obligations will be accompanied by "
the strengthening of checks and fines
", writes the prefecture on its website, specifying that "
870 checks of establishments have given rise, since mid-August, to 52 fines for non-compliance with instructions and 10 formal notices to comply with the rules.
For lack of reaction, 1 establishment was closed by administrative decision and other procedures are in progress, they will result, in the coming days, by new sanctions.

Prevention and awareness-raising actions on barrier gestures will also be stepped up, particularly among young people.
