A slight drop will occur today (Tuesday) in temperatures in the mountains and inland but in most of the country it will still be warmer than usual until it rains.
Along the coastal plain it will continue to be steamy, and heavy to extreme heat loads will continue to prevail in many areas across the country.
The predicted temperatures in selected cities around the country:
Katzrin: 38-23 degrees, Haifa: 29-24, Tel Aviv: 31-26, Jerusalem: 34-22, Beer Sheva: 36-24 and Eilat: 41-29.
