The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed that Germany is practicing dirty political tricks with its allegations about poisoning Russian dissident Alexei Navalny.

Commenting on the statements of the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology of the German Armed Forces, which refused to provide additional information about its findings of the presence of traces of a combat toxic substance in Navalny samples under the pretext of secrecy, Zakharova said that “considerations of confidentiality did not prevent media reports from receiving an intense exchange of information between the military institute. For his part, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Moscow is interested in investigating the facts in the Navalny case, but it needs necessary information from Berlin, pointing out that investigations into the incident are underway in Russia at the practical level, and the investigation will be officially opened if the poisoning of the activist is proven.

Last Sunday, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that it was monitoring anti-Russian statements on the health status of Navalny's case, especially after what was mentioned in a joint statement issued in this regard by the German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas and French Jean-Yves Le Drian.

It is noteworthy that a plane transported the Russian dissident Navalny to Berlin on the twenty-second of last month to continue his treatment, as he is still in a coma, but the German doctors confirmed that there is currently no danger to his life.
