The envoy of the President of the United States, Jared Kushner, announced today (Wednesday) that Saudi Arabia will allow all Israeli flights to pass over its territory, and not only flights to and from the Emirates.
This will be a significant shortcut to flights coming to the East.
According to Kushner, Bahrain also agreed that Israeli flights would pass through its territory.
"This is a big checkpoint that has been removed, every day you see good news. There are a lot of optimism in the area," President Trump's special envoy said.

Kushner said next week's ceremony to establish diplomatic relations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates reflects the dramatic turnaround in the Middle East over the years leading up to the Trump administration.
Kushner noted the fact that ISIS no longer controls "Ohio-sized" territory and that Iran no longer receives funds from the West that it can use to finance its metastases, and U.S. allies respect it again.
Regarding the question of whether Foreign Minister Ashkenazi will be invited to the signing ceremony of the normalization agreement next week, Kushner said that this is a decision at Israel's discretion.
Regarding the issue of selling the F35 aircraft to the Emirates, Kushner clarified that there is no decision on the matter, but the United Arab Emirates is near Iran, and it is very important in this context, "We are in discussions with the Israelis on the matter."
"Normalization - Abolishing the Peace Initiative"
Meanwhile, the 154th session of the Arab League Council convened today via a video call at the level of foreign ministers.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shakari addressed the Arab Ministerial Committee in charge of Turkey's interventions in Arab countries, calling for a unified Arab policy to curb the Turkish regime.
Saudi Foreign Minister Fitzl al-Farhan condemned Iran's violations.
He warned that the Iranian regime is helping armed militias that are spreading destruction and chaos in many Arab countries.
In addition, Ben-Farhan stated that Saudi Arabia's position was strong regarding support for the Palestinian people who were suffering from the occupation.
Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad Al-Malaki, as expected, condemned Israel's actions against the Palestinians, and in particular the normalization agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Israel.
He stressed that Arab countries must oppose normalization with Israel, since normalization is the abolition of the Arab peace initiative.
