For "The Moniker", a pub-restaurant located at the foot of Lloyd's Building, it is taking over after more than five months of closure.
Karina Adzingazova feverishly paces the room, the payment terminals do not work and the staff tries to familiarize themselves with the new layout of the premises.
“We had been closed since the end of March,”
explains the manager.
“We are starting by reopening this establishment this week and will reopen maybe two more next week.

It has already had to lay off five of its 18 employees.
Before the crisis, his restaurant achieved more than 30,000 euros in turnover per week.
On this Wednesday in September, only three of the several dozen available tables are occupied.
However, “The Moniker” is one of the few restaurants to have reopened its doors in the heart of the London slot machine, the City district.
