Member of the Al-Wafa Resistance Bloc, MP Hussein Hajj Hassan, affirmed that the aim of the continued US sanctions on the Lebanese and others is to put pressure on the resistance and its allies and to blockade the resistance in the service of the Israeli enemy.

Hajj Hassan said in a televised interview tonight that the Americans want Lebanese officials to obey Washington’s orders regarding demarcation of the maritime borders with occupied Palestine in accordance with the demands of the Israeli enemy and to proceed with the so-called “deal of the century” to settle the Palestinian issue.

Hajj Hassan explained that the strength and toughness of the resistance, and behind it the tripartite equation, the army, the people, and the resistance constitutes the real deterrent to the ambitions of the enemy and its allies, indicating that the American will do everything he can, but he will lose the battle with his Israeli ally in the face of the resistance and its allies.

The member of the Al-Wafa bloc stressed that the file of demarcating the borders between Lebanon and occupied Palestine is a correct logic based on laws, and that the American’s words regarding this issue are a blatant interference with Lebanese sovereignty.
