Kushner: Saudi Arabia has agreed to open airspace to all flights from Israel to the east
Trump's top adviser has announced that any plane that arrives from Israel and requests a transit permit in Saudi airspace will receive it.
This is after Riyadh agreed to allow Israeli planes to fly over the country's airspace only on flights to the UAE.

Senior Adviser to the President of the United States Donald Trump Jared Kushner announced tonight (Wednesday) that the Saudi Arabian government has agreed to open its airspace to all flights departing from Israel to the east.
In a briefing for reporters ahead of the signing ceremony with the Emirates at the White House next week, Kushner explained that following the Saudi decision, any aircraft arriving from Israel and requesting transit clearance in Saudi airspace would receive it, not only for flights to the UAE but for all flights.
Last week, the Saudi Arabian government agreed to allow flights between Israel and the United Arab Emirates to pass over its airspace, following an official request submitted by the United Arab Emirates government, and many US diplomatic efforts.

The El Al 971 flight that took off for Abu Dhabi from Ben Gurion Airport last week was the first direct flight of an Israeli commercial airline, which received a transit permit in Saudi airspace. El Al 972 flight from Abu Dhabi to Ben Gurion Airport also passed through Saudi airspace, with only the Israeli delegation on board. Without the American delegation.
