The President of the Nation announced this Wednesday that he will take funds from the City of Buenos that the Buenos Aires government uses to finance the operation of the Metropolitan Police to allocate them to the Province of Buenos Aires, which is immersed in a salary conflict with the Buenos Aires Police .
The funds will come from the percentage of Coparticipación that the government of Mauricio Macri gave to the City when he transferred the Federal Police to the Federal Capital.
"We do it because we are trying to restore a balance that was lost back in the mid-1980s when the Province lost 8 points of co-participation," said the President, surrounded by mayors from the Buenos Aires suburbs, including some from Together for Change.
