Tim Dunn and Charlotte Charles, respectively father and mother of Harry Dunn, as well as the twin brother of the victim, Niall, accuse the American driver, Anne Sacoolas, of serious fault having caused a homicide.

Harry Dunn, 19, died when his motorcycle crashed into a car in Northamptonshire, England on August 27.

At the wheel of the vehicle, Ms. Sacoolas, 42, was driving on the wrong side of the road.

Invoking diplomatic immunity, the mother of three quickly returned to the United States.

This affair is at the origin of tensions between London and Washington, which refuses to extradite the diplomat's wife.

This supposed ex-agent of the CIA was however indicted at the end of December by the British prosecution for dangerous driving causing death and, according to the family of the victim, she is also targeted by a red notice issued by Interpol.

In their complaint filed in a court in Alexandria, a suburb of Washington, relatives of Harry Dunn note that the impact of the collision resulted in "

blood and clothes embedded in the windshield

" of the Anne Sacoolas car.

Also according to the complaint, the driver was guilty of "

willful or unwarranted

"

illegal conduct

by not immediately alerting the police or emergency services.

The refusal of Anne Sacoolas to answer for his acts in front of the British justice only aggravates "

the psychological anguish

" of the parents of the young Harry, commented the spokesman of the family, Radd Seiger.

"

Mrs. Sacoolas and those who counsel her are clearly ignoring this heightened distress for Harry's family

," Seiger said.
