The states of California, Oregon and Washington are the most affected by the wildfires that cover the western United States. The severity and damage caused have caused from the withdrawal of firefighters in Oregon, to the destruction of more than 800,000 hectares of land in California.
For his part, the governor of Washington, Jay Inslee, stated that the fire has consumed more hectares in that jurisdiction than in the last 12 fire seasons.
