At 4 o'clock in the morning today (10th), in a nursing home at No. 6 Tai Po Road, Sham Shui Po, an old man hung himself with a cloth belt. The staff reported that he was removed and called the police.
Police officers arrived at the scene. The 79-year-old Lin, surnamed Lin, was in a coma and was sent to Guanghua Hospital where he was certified dead.
The police did not seize the suicide note at the scene. Initial investigations believed that the incident was not suspicious. The cause of death has yet to be determined after an autopsy.
