The Beit Matityahu Yeshiva in Bnei Brak, where hundreds of yeshiva students from the Lithuanian stream in the ultra-Orthodox sector study, decided to allow students with corona to stay in an institution with students who are not infected with the virus.

According to testimonies that reached Walla!

NEWS, The boys are staying together in the beit midrash, in the dining room and in the boarding schools, as part of the decision of the yeshiva management.

The boys in the yeshiva who are not sick can leave it in "urgent cases" and the teaching staff leaves the yeshiva every day, in a way that raises the fear that the virus will spread.

A senior member of the yeshiva administration who spoke to parents of students today explained that the yeshiva allows non-sick boys to return home if they are afraid of getting infected.

"You just have to check the spiritual price of a guy who stays in his house and doesn't stay in the yeshiva. The spiritual damage is very great," he said.

The source explained in those conversations that the decision to involve the patients with non-patients was due to a desire to avoid closing the meeting.

"Our option was to close the meeting," he said.

"The question is which is better - should they study properly or should we close?".

He said, "Until now we were in the outline of capsules, it collapsed, did not work so we decided to stop with it. Everything is within reason."

In the first wave, the meeting made headlines after the number of patients reached an unprecedented peak.

There were more than 300 patients in the yeshiva, and at least 270 of them fell ill at the same time.

The yeshiva then denied reports that the head of the yeshiva, Rabbi Baruch Weisbacher, had instructed his students not to be examined in Corona, and claimed that all the boys had been examined as required.

The sick boys were evacuated to solitary confinement only a few days later.
