A dozen half-naked women tied themselves to the gates of the Palace of Westminster in London using bicycle locks strapped to their necks.

On their chests were written words illustrating the consequences of the climate crisis: "

famine

", "

displacement (of population)

" or even "

violence

".

This action is part of a ten-day mobilization of the environmental movement which ended on Thursday.

One of the group's most spectacular actions was blocking printing presses which disrupted newspaper distribution on Saturday and angered the government.
