Ross Drona experts designed to specialize in helping people evacuate during wildfires.
The RIA Novosti news agency quoted Dmitry Arsenyev, Director General of the Russian Avia Resinia Design Office, as saying that the heavy Briaron drone had succeeded in experiments using it to evacuate people from forests in which fire broke out, adding: “Our experiments confirmed the ability of the dron to descend to a height of 20 meters above the ground and lift a payload of up to 200 meters. A kilogram is what will enable us in the future to evacuate a person from a burning forest. ”
The aforementioned drone is currently the first Russian unmanned aircraft capable of carrying out such a difficult mission.
The drone is able to travel 200 kilometers in temperature conditions ranging from 40 degrees Celsius below zero to 40 degrees Celsius above zero and is 5 meters long and 3 meters wide and runs on regular gasoline.
