The computer giant Microsoft revealed on Thursday that it had detected cyberattacks from Russia and China targeting people and political organizations linked to the preparation of the US presidential election.

Hackers have targeted the campaign teams of Republican President Donald Trump and Democratic candidate Joe Biden, Microsoft said on its blog.
The company says it has detected 200 attacks linked to groups of Russian hackers.
Unsuccessful hacking attempts from China have directly targeted political figures like Joe Biden or a figure
"formerly associated"
with the Trump administration, according to Microsoft.
