The health authorities in Brazil announced that 983 new deaths from the emerging corona virus were recorded, in addition to 40,557 infections during the past 24 hours.
Reuters quoted the Brazilian Ministry of Health that the total number of deaths in the country has reached 129,522 cases so far, while the number of HIV infections has reached 4.2 million cases.
It is noteworthy that Brazil ranks second after the United States of America in terms of the number of deaths.
