The Egyptian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 17 new deaths due to the emerging corona virus, in addition to 151 infections during the past 24 hours.
"The total number that has been registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus to date is 100,708 cases, including 8,2473 cases that have been cured and 5607 deaths," the seventh day website quoted the Ministry of Health spokesman Dr. Khaled Mujahid.
Mujahid indicated that 876 people were discharged from hospitals after receiving the necessary medical care and recovering from the virus, bringing the total of those recovering to 82,473 cases so far.
