Following the fire that ravaged the Mória migrant camp, the first question that arises is that of emergency assistance to be provided to the thousands of people who are now homeless.
Whether they come from Foreign Minister Heiko Maas (SPD), members of the Green Party or the Left Party, calls for a greater redistribution of refugees to Germany and other EU states are are more and more pressing.
The Minister of the Interior of the Land of Thuringia Georg Maier (SPD) expects the federal government to
"quickly welcome quotas of refugees from Lesbos"

The Land of Thuringia has offered
"to welcome 500 refugees, but thousands more could be taken care of nationwide,"
