Theft occurred in Lantian.
At about 2 am on Saturday (12th), the police received a report from a truck driver who alleged that 79 cigarettes were missing from the truck parked in the unloading area of the Pingtian Village shopping mall, with a total value of about 47,000 yuan.
The police rushed to investigate and classified the case as "theft from a vehicle." The Kwun Tong District Criminal Investigation Team has taken over and followed up.
According to the memory of the Pakistani driver involved, at the time of the incident, he and the two local car-followers, three of whom left the truck, and delivered the goods to the convenience store and other shops near the site. There was no connection to board the truck tailgate.
When the materials were returned, two boxes containing 79 cigarettes were found missing.
