Hungarian orchestra conductor Ivan Fischer designed a musical muzzle with two plastic pads in the shape of the palm that are attached to muzzle straps behind the ear, allowing concert-goers to better enjoy the music.
Reuters reported that Fischer, after seeing a torrent of masks in Budapest, had the idea of turning that tool imposed by the Corona virus into a way to enjoy music.
"The idea came to me to be more like a hand because when we put our hands behind the ear we hear and understand the other more easily, and we hear music better," said the conductor of the Budapest Festival Fischer orchestra during a training on melodies by Beethoven and Johann Strauss.
Fischer's muzzle was popular among concert-goers, as dozens of people appeared with it at a ceremony in Budapest yesterday.
