Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has called on technology company Apple not to remove Russian media apps from its Ukrainian store branch.
The Russian news agency TASS quoted Zakharova as saying in a statement that Russia calls for the Ukrainian authorities to not be satisfied and not to take any action that would turn the American information technology company into a partner in Kiev's crimes against freedom of expression.
The Russian media are exposed to a hostile and misleading campaign launched by Western countries, including the European Parliament's adoption in 2016 of a non-binding resolution bearing the stamp of recommendation on what he called "confronting the Russian media."
