Today, the Turkish regime authorities arrested 26 people under the pretext of their association with the Turkish preacher Fethullah Gülen, whom these authorities accuse of being behind the coup attempt that took place in July 2016.
The Anadolu News Agency, speaking on behalf of the Turkish regime, stated that these arrests came after the Prosecutor General’s Office in Istanbul issued arrest warrants against 51 people as part of its revenge campaigns and its excuses to punch the mouths of its opponents. These arrests took place in six Turkish provinces, which are Adiyaman, Ankara, Izmir, Kocaeli, Manisa and Van, simultaneously.
Earlier today, the Turkish regime authorities issued decisions to arrest 60 people, including 48 lawyers, as part of their arbitrary and repressive campaigns against the opposition following the coup that took place four years ago and resulted in the arrest of officers, academics, judges, governors, police officers, teachers, doctors, and employees, in addition to the arbitrary dismissal of thousands of their work.
