Today, Damascus governorate installed 5 mobile tanks loaded with benzene near the public fuel distribution stations in the city, with the aim of filling cars and relieving pressure on stations.
A member of the executive office for the transport and communications sector in the governorate, Mazen Al-Dabbas, explained in a statement to the representative of SANA that the governorate, in cooperation with the Damascus Fuel Directorate, placed mobile tanks near the stations, distributing “two tanks in the Mazzeh area near the Al-Galaa station and another in Al-Adawi near a fuel company and a tanker in Barzeh. Near Qasioun Club and a cistern in a destroyed project near Uptown.
Al-Dabbas indicated that the number of tanks mentioned above is not fixed on a daily basis, but tanks will be placed near the stations daily as needed to relieve pressure on them, explaining that each tank has two individuals for filling to directly service cars.
