The statement added that the army units chased the terrorist cell that fled the area towards the district of Rashin, Benahi Road, and proceeded to encircle the aforementioned locality, where the terrorists hid, noting that “during the operation, the terrorist operative fired at one of the soldiers who responded in kind, which led to his killing immediately. The terrorist group is being prosecuted for arrest. ”

On the other hand, the Lebanese Army Command announced today that a soldier was wounded after being shot in Baalbek, eastern Lebanon.

In a statement, the Army Command stated that while an army unit was stopping a car at a checkpoint in the Kayal area of ​​Baalbek, those inside the car fired at the officers, prompting them to respond in kind, and that led to the injury of a soldier while the shooter fled to an unknown destination, indicating that he Follow-up to arrest him.
