At 4 o'clock in the morning, an overnight bus on the N269 route from Mei Foo to Tin Tsz Village, Tin Shui Wai, approached Yuen Long Main Road near Chung Shing Path, when a passenger suddenly pointed out to the bus captain that there was a dispute on the upper deck.
Upon hearing the news, the captain immediately stopped the car and parked on the side of the road before reporting the case for help.
It is understood that at the time, a male passenger was injured and fled the bus; while another man was holding a fruit knife and sat on the seat and did not leave.
After the police arrived at the scene to investigate, the man with the knife was arrested on the spot. He was not injured and was escorted by a police car to the police station for detention. As for the male passenger injured in the attack, he did not know where he ended up.
The police are looking for the whereabouts of the injured and are investigating the cause of the incident.
