Rain is the main enemy with this slow moving system.
Accumulated highs of 24 inches are expected in and around the impact zone.
But storm surge remains another of the biggest concerns with waves up to 3.3 meters (11 feet) high.
Direct contact with the ground is now expected late Tuesday or early Wednesday.
And it is estimated that it will be in the border area between Louisiana and Mississippi.
