Sweida-Sana
On the occasion of the Feast of the Cross, the Church of Jesus the King for the Capuchin Fathers in Sweida this evening held a divine mass presided over by Father Fadi Ziada, the pastor of the church.
The father also spoke about the meanings of the Feast of the Cross and the Mother of Christ, and the values and virtues of sacrifice and patience that she embodied in the resurrection of humanity from aches, pains, diseases and sins.
Father Ziada and the worshipers raised the prayers so that God would protect our country, Syria, bless all its lands, keep adversity and disease away from it, and restore security and stability to all its territories.
The mass was immediately followed by the burning of the feast of the Cross feast, some hymns and an exchange of blessings to the crowds of worshipers in the yard of the Church and Monastery of the King Jesus for the Capuchin Fathers.
